Jedes Jahr wird der 21. Februar als der Internationale Tag der Muttersprache begangen, der die sprachliche Vielfältigkeit feiert und auf die vom Aussterben bedrohten Sprachen hinweist.
Dieses Jahr feiern wir den Europäischen Tag der Sprachen bereits zum sechzehnten Mal. Alle 47 Mitgliedsstaaten des Europarates nehmen immer am 26. September an Aktivitäten für die Unterstützung der sprachlichen Bildung teil.
